You think this only because science has not said its true. The lack of credibility in the “thousands of years” of documented ghost sightings and paranormal activity, which you are clearly privy to, arises from the fact that up until a couple hundred years ago, people HAD NO FUCKING CLUE how the world worked. There’s still a lot we don’t know but modern science is more than capable of dispelling most of what you attribute to paranormal.

1. Since the dawn of time, we have had tales of the afterlife, experiences with spirits, ghosts, and the general paranormal.
2. In modern times, we still have tales of ghosts, spirits and paranormal activity. We also have many many MANY instances of this happening on tape or recorded video. Your ladder comment isn’t the same.
