Three families of this bird are living in my front yard trees. Can you help me identify the kind of bird? Neighbors says cranes or herons. I happened to see one walking on my roof out my bathroom window and he looked right at me! Watch and delight in and if you suspect the type of bird please let me know.
Four adult whooping cranes, on their own, wild and free. What a treat to encounter these rare creatures, practically in our own back yard!
